IKEA launches a new collection for children inspired by space. The collection, including products that encourage creativity, imagination, and role-playing, has been launched in stores in a limited edition.

The ideas behind the new AFTONSPARV collection were developed together with a group of young space enthusiasts aged 3 to 7, who were invited to a series of workshops. Based on the belief that children know best what they need and love, their interesting thoughts and ideas served as the starting point for creating the AFTONSPARV collection. The variety of space-related products offer plenty of opportunities for creativity and play, just like the fascinating and magical world of outer space.

Among the products, the collection includes soft toy astronauts and aliens, finger puppets, and a space-themed cardboard play tent, glowing curtain for darkness, lamps, and bedding – all made from 100% recycled polyester.
