Police officer lightly wounded in car ramming near Hebron
A hunt had ensued for the vehicle, and roadblocks had been erected in the area.
An Israel Police officer from the Special Patrol Unit was lightly wounded after a car rammed into him during operations carried out in Dhahiriya in the West Bank, the police said on Monday.
While operating in the area, Israeli forces identified a car that they suspected was stolen. They signaled to the driver to stop, but the driver did not halt the vehicle and rammed it into a police officer instead.
