When the 25-year-old student purchased a five-room apartment in an iconic project that changed the skyline of Tel Aviv, she immediately turned to Oron Milstein, one of the country’s top interior designers, to transform the space into a home that reflects her unique personality. Milstein, known for his innovative approach to ultra-modern urban design, created a spectacular, meticulously planned, and stylish living space tailored precisely to her needs and dynamic lifestyle.

Already at the planning stage, Milstein chose to alter the original layout proposed by the project's contractor. “We realized that the client didn’t need a large number of rooms, but rather spacious and indulgent areas that would allow her to enjoy city life and entertaining,” he explains. Therefore, two rooms were removed, and the apartment was redesigned to include a large public area and a private wing with a spacious bedroom suite and a study/guest room.

Milstein emphasized creating an open space that allows the urban view to enter the apartment from every angle. The living room was repositioned so the public space would be open and airy, serving both relaxed entertaining and an intimate living experience. To maintain the clean lines of the design, an advanced TV system was chosen, featuring a hidden ceiling lift mechanism controlled by an app—revealing the screen only when needed.

At the same time, other technological solutions were integrated, such as a smart audio-video system embedded in an elegant display cabinet that combines illuminated shelves and two marble plates with a Book Match pattern to complete the luxurious look.

The client, a fan of Japanese and Korean pop art, requested a bold and vibrant design—and Milstein delivered brilliantly. The living room includes a sofa upholstered in a unique Missoni fabric, resembling colorful pixels in a digital bloom. The central table, from GLAS ITALIA, is made of Multi Color glass that changes color depending on the light angle, alongside colorful side tables from Kartell that add a dynamic touch.

The dining area continues the design language—a table with an amorphous leg and a glass top, surrounded by iconic Panton chairs from the Vitra brand, together creating the effect of a blooming flower.

The kitchen, located to the right of the entrance, features an impressive graphite-toned storage wall that also cleverly hides a concealed door leading to the guest room. In the center of the kitchen is a dramatic island clad in black granite, serving as the hub for both work and entertaining. Above it—an advanced lift hood, while the counter incorporates induction burners and a Gun Metal sink in a unique design by the CEA brand, which looks like a piece of fine jewelry.

The private wing of the apartment was redesigned to include a spacious bedroom suite by removing the walls that originally separated the bedroom, bathroom, and safe room. The result is a flowing, harmonious space that includes a walk-in closet with dark glass fronts, walls clad in grooved Corian, and a walnut parquet floor in a Fishbone pattern.

The central bed, model Bubble, is upholstered in light Bouclé fabric, with decorative pillows from the LOVE By Milshtein collection, designed by Milstein himself. Beside the bed are side tables by designer Marcel Wanders and unique lighting fixtures imported from Italy.

As part of the structural changes, Milstein connected the guest bathroom to the main bathroom, creating a luxurious space with a free-standing bathtub. The walls are clad in Nero Marquina porcelain granite, and the light-colored accessories balance the dark tones, resulting in a polished, upscale feel.

To enhance the sense of spaciousness, a wide sliding door made of fluted glass separates the sleeping area from the bathroom, disappearing into the wall when opened. The shower and toilet were positioned discreetly, keeping the overall look minimalist and clean.
