Despite Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff's claims, Hamas has said it only suggested changes to adress the deal's 'bias' toward Israel

Israeli officials told media outlets that Hamas's official response, including its list of new demands, has yet to be presented to Israel.

Lt. Col. (res.) Amit Yagur argued that so long as the Witkoff proposal doesn't interfere with the civilian campaign against Hamas, it may be worth accepting.

The letter is based on the original by Karim Kattan, which was published in the French outlet Liberation on Monday and signed by 300 French authors.

The ceasefire would reportedly come as part of a deal that would include the release of Israeli hostages held by Gazan terror organizations.

With all of these developments overlapping, the IDF both starts conquering or taking control of new areas, as well as restarting the allowance of food aid into Gaza.

Netanyahu reportedly responded positively to the offer, but with reservations, while Hamas continues to demand guarantees for an end to the war.
