Many members of the US Congress are older than President Biden. Are they still suitable?

McConnell, who has served in the Senate since 1985, fell and suffered a concussion and a broken rib in early March and missed six weeks of Senate action.

Currently serving his seventh term, which runs through 2026, McConnell is the third US senator to be hospitalized in recent weeks.

There has been interest by a still small number of academically educated, intellectual and political figures willing to participate in Holocaust “revisionism.”

McConnell was accompanied by Susan Collins of Maine, John Barrasso of Wyoming and John Cornyn of Texas in an unannounced visit to Kyiv on Saturday.

Even in defeat and exile, the disgraced former president continues to insist he is the GOP’s real leader and “Mitch McConnell does not speak for the Republican Party.”

House Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar and Arizona State Sen. Wendy Rogers spoke at the America First Political Action Conference in Orlando over the weekend.

“We ask that you urgently move forward the supplemental appropriations funding to replenish Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system,” the organizations wrote in a letter.

McConnell intends to use all his skills to make sure few if any Biden programs become law. In that way he and Republicans will go to voters next year to attack the do-nothing Congress.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, who is Jewish, said “antisemitism is vile, reprehensible and countering everything that America stands for.”

Trump wants revenge, but McConnell may get the last laugh and Judge Garland may be the one to deliver it.
