Perfecting lipstick
Five shades we tried and absolutely loved.
Winter’s arrival calls for cozy textures and bold colors, like creamy reds or richly pigmented shades enhanced with shea butter. We tested numerous lipsticks, and here are our top 5 picks:
1. Rouge Paradoxe by Yves Saint Laurent Winter essentials Rain, a long coat, red lipstick, Clementines, and boots. It’s no surprise that red is a staple in winter wardrobes, but this season, it’s a must-have. For those not ready to fully embrace bold reds, opt for a minimalist touch with Rouge Paradoxe.Recommendation: Shade No. 21 Rouge Paradoxe from YSL's ROUGE PUR COUTURE THE BOLD series. A classic red with a creamy texture, providing intense moisture and long-lasting wear, housed in an elegant black package with a gold belt. Price: NIS 160.
Recommendation: Daredevil from MAC's Locked Kiss Ink series, rich in pigment and matte finish. If you can get your hands on the deep cherry brown shade, it's been sold out for months. Alternatives: Fruitful - deep purple or Stoic - gray, for the brave hearts. Price: NIS 150. Available in stores and online.
Recommendation: Orgasm shade from NARS' THE Afterglow collection. The brand's legendary blush upgraded to a shimmering rose lip gloss - subtle yet vibrant. A little color, lots of light, plenty of shea butter for moisture, and most importantly, you can apply it flawlessly. Price: NIS 135. Available in stores and online.
Recommendation: Lip balm in shade No. 108 Lotus Scroll by Shiseido. Soft, hydrating, perfect for dry and cracked winter lips. Price: NIS 99. Available on the official website.
Recommendation: Pure Talent from Revlon's SUEDE INK series - a calm, soothing brown. Like MAC's lipstick, it comes in a matte finish, lasts long, and requires a certain skill to apply. However, it may not be as suitable for dry lips. Price: NIS 72.90. Available at pharmacy stores.
