Nahal Ayun awaits restoration, northern nature reserves open to visitors
Second Round: The Israel Nature and Parks Authority reopens Tel Dan, Banias, Snir, Hurshat Tal, and Ein Afek reserves, while Nahal Ayun remains closed for restoration.
The north continues to return to normal: A week after reopening seven nature sites in the region, the Israel Nature and Parks Authority announced the reopening of five additional sites starting tomorrow (Tuesday).
The sites being reopened are the Hermon Stream (Banias) Nature Reserve, the Tel Dan Nature Reserve, the Snir Stream Nature Reserve, the Hurshat Tal National Park, and the Ein Afek Nature Reserve. This reopening is possible after the sites underwent regulation, restoration, and were adapted to the guidelines of the Home Front Command.
The Nahal Ayun Nature Reserve remains the only site still closed to visitors, as it continues undergoing restoration following extensive damage sustained in recent months.
