Since then, many brands have adopted the stick format, and two new ones have entered the scene this season:

Payot offers a stick for sensitive areas like the lips and eyes, also suitable for the face. It looks like a wobbly orange jelly at first glance; once applied, it melts into the skin, clear and pleasant, and absorbs instantly. Multi-Function ProductsThe Silky Filter by Hava Zingboim is an excellent product—both as a sunscreen with SPF50 and as a primer, with or without makeup. With makeup, it smooths the skin and holds all the layers beautifully. Without makeup, it leaves a smooth and healthy finish, which is all we need. Clinique's new moisturizer from the Smart series reminds us why there's no reason to compromise on heavy and annoying sunscreens. On one hand, it's a rich yet thin moisturizer that nourishes without burdening even in the heat. On the other hand, it offers SPF30. Tinted ProtectionShiseido, a leader in the field, introduces a new compact BB with high protection this season. If you prefer liquid products applied with fingers, move on. But if you like compact products and your skin is normal or oily, this is your go-to for the summer. Bobbi Brown's cream is a versatile product: solid sun protection, light coverage in 18 shades to find your perfect match, and pleasant hydration from the renowned Vitamin Enriched series. You can wake up an hour earlier to apply it over serum and moisturizer and under foundation and concealer, but it's recommended to use it alone as it really needs nothing else. Dermalogica's excellent new mineral sunscreen is essentially a universal primer that adapts to your skin tone, refines pores, and provides a smooth finish. It's not quite foundation coverage, but it offers an even and glowing tint that subtly blurs imperfections. Application tip: shake well before use to avoid a white face reminiscent of Kabuki theater. For Babies and ChildrenWhat's good for babies is likely good for the most sensitive, delicate, and pale skin. La Roche-Posay is always a safe bet. This year, the brand launched a protective lotion in a convenient pump pack for babies from 6 months old, with SPF50. An extra-pale tester who prefers fragrance-free and hypoallergenic products was satisfied: "It may not absorb the fastest and is quite noticeable on the skin, but the texture is very pleasant, leaves no white residue, and I can be assured it won't irritate my skin or clog pores." Dr. Fischer's more affordable version for babies includes a similar specification—a lotion with SPF50, fragrance-free, and tested for sensitive skin. It also takes time to absorb and feels a bit heavy on the skin. Our hot tip: keep it away from light clothes unless you want a mayonnaise stain that won't come out even in the wash. But for those seeking gentle and thorough protection for themselves or their children, with minimal chemicals and at a relatively accessible price, this is definitely a successful solution.
