One official told Axios that Israel made it clear to the US that they wouldn't surprise the Trump administration with any attacks on Iran without informing the US first. 

In a statement, Kremlin spokesperson Dimitry Peskov said that Moscow was ready to use its close relations with Tehran to help in nuclear deal negotiations.

Of course, allowing and blocking uranium enrichment are polar opposites, so the two by definition cannot coexist – or can't they?

While the IAEA sees the roughly 20,000 centrifuges installed at Iran's enrichment facilities, it does not know how many more have been produced in recent years and are now elsewhere.

“The enemies of the Iranian nation should understand that any violation of our airspace will cause them significant harm,” the military head said.

The talks suggest both sides are buying time. For Iran’s leadership, an agreement could unlock billions in frozen assets and reduce sanctions pressure.

"Iran is drafting a negative response to the US proposal, which could be interpreted as a rejection of the US offer," a senior diplomat told Reuters.

"Despite countless warnings by the international community, Iran is totally determined to complete its nuclear weapons program," the PMO said.

Iran is open to a deal but distrusts Trump. Saudi Arabia is trying to prevent a regional war that could hurt its economy and stability.

Trump’s better nuclear deal terms would leave Iran only months away from a nuclear weapon and would prevent Israel from attacking at its best opportunity in decades.
